Q: What is the difference between General and Full Access?
General Admission gets you into the event and UNLIMITED Access to Station One. It is a static shooting station with paper and steel targets. There will be FREE Demo Night Vision to use. Instructors will be on hand to help you get situated and run you through some static drills to get you familiar. You will also be able to plink to your heart’s content! Top Shooters will receive a Challenge Coin!
Full Access opens all the Shooting Stations to you and makes you eligible to take home the Event Prize, a custom, hand made Redmane Knife and the Top Shooter Challenge Coin!
Anyone can upgrade on site from General to Full Access by visiting the Check In Tent.
Q: What if I don’t have night vision?
A: No worries! There will be FREE night vision for use during the event! Use is turn based at each station.
Q: What do I need to bring?
A: At a minimum, bring eye protection and hearing protection. If you are planning to shoot, bring appropriate gear!
Q: What is appropriate gear?
A: Sling for your primary (rifle or carbine) holster for your secondary. Method of magazine retention. It can be pockets or a chest rig. shooter’s choice. Gear set ups that are deemed unsafe by event personnel will be asked to be modified.
Q: How much ammo should I bring?
A: All of it. More is better. We recommend at least 200 Primary (Rifle) and 100 (Secondary). More is always better.
Q: What kind of ammo can I bring?
A: No bi-metal or “armor piercing” round are allowed. No XM855 or XM855a1! No Tracer Ammunition. Damages caused by use of UNAUTHORIZED ammunition may be billed to the offender. Don’t be a dick. Please no unauthorized ammo!
Q: Can I bring my kid?
A: Of course! Minors under 18 can attend to free! Lets raise them right! Minors can attend with an authorized guardian.
Q: Can my kid shoot?
A: Maybe. We will need the authorized guardian to give permission. Event staff has final discretion if your minor will be allowed to shoot. Safety First!
Q: Can I show up early?
A: Kinda, please do not show up more than 30 minutes before the start time.
Q: Can I stay overnight after the event?
A: Sure can! We understand that you might have traveled to come Chill. Overnight Camping is FREE!
Q: What is the address?
A: Tricky answer, go to Address: 4555 S Calhan Hwy, Calhan, CO 80808. Look for a large Nods and Chill Banner out front.
Q: What time does it start?
The gates opens at 1130 and event starts at Noon. We will be announcing waffle winner throughout the event, make sure you are there to claim your prize!
Will there be a place to hang out and network?
Absolutely! There will be two “Chill" areas to take a load off and hang out with the Goons! Make sure you bring a folding chair!
How does the Waffle work?
All Access Attendees have 2 entries into the waffle. General Access has 1 entry to the waffle.
Additional Waffle Entries can be bought HERE. They will be available for pick up during Check-In.
You MUST BE PRESENT to win the prize! Your waffle tickets are in your check-in packet. You must fill it out and drop in the waffle jar. Hence, you are not present to enter the waffle, you cannot win! Be sure to be here by 1PM for the first waffle draw! Event Schedule is HERE with the Waffle Times.
I have night vision, but no Laser Aiming Module (LAM). Will you have demo units to borrow?
Yes, we have lasers that you can borrow. You must show up early if you want an opportunity to zero. An ID will be required to borrow the LAM for the event.
